Fibreglass Cloth, Fabric and Tape

Plain weaves consists of yarns interlaced in an alternating fashion one over and one under every other yarn. Plain weave provides good fabric stability but is generally the least pliable.

Twill weave has good drapability, it is also a very ‘soft’ cloth that will laminate into awkward shapes and tight corners.

Full Roll. This combination fibreglass fabric consists of a 600g woven cloth base layer to which 300g of chopped fibreglass strand is deposited. Useful for building layers rather than using individual materials separately.

This is one of the most popular Carbon Fibre cloths available and sold by the Linear Metre. The 205g Weight refers to the weight of 1sqm of the fabric. Laminated this gives the Classic Carbon Fibre Weave Look and Feel to your finished project.

A finely woven fabric treated with a release agent to which epoxy and polyester resins will not adhere. Excellent for providing a release and reducing subsequent sanding prior to applying more resin.

Glassfibre Surface Tissue is a sheet of randomly orientated textile glass fibre. Surface tissue is used in applications where a smooth surface is desired. Surface tissue is available at different lengths and may be cut into a workable size.
