Prymax is a hard but flexible polyurethane that forms a super tough coating that can be used to seal concrete, wood and metal. Prymax moisture curing system means it can be applied in damp (not wet) conditions and low temperatures. When Prymax is partially cured, polyester resins will chemically bond, making it an excellent primer for bonding GRP to porous and metal substrates.

Consumption is approximately 200g/sq mt on wood and 165g/sq mt on metal

Prymax is recommended by all the major polyester resin manufactures as a bonding primer between polyester resin (G.R.P.) and materials such as wood, metal and concrete. It is widely used by roofing contractors when applying glassfibre roofs. Brush on a coat of Prymax to the clean base substrate. As soon as it is finger tacky but within 4 hours apply the polyester resin and glassfibre (G.R.P) laminate.

Prymax can also be used for sealing damp out from concrete, stone, brick and wood with a hard wearing, non-porous, flexible plastic coating.
