Skin Safe Casting Chromatic Alginate - Fast Setting

Alginate is designed to create quick and easy single use moulds and can be used to capture almost any inert object. Skin safe Alginate is also commonly used to take a casting of Baby Hands and Feet, Family Hand Castings as well as almost any part of the body!

Mixing Rations

Clearcast Alginate can be mixed in the following Ratios. Please bear in mind that regular users may experiment with mixing ratios with the guides below to suit different projects combined with a good working knowledge of the material.

For thicker consistency and less moisture content a 1 part water to 1 part alginate powder by volume will be required.

For less thick consistency 2 parts water to 1 part alginate powder by volume will be fine.
